Rentals

Rental is an easy to use tool, specifically designed to assist in managing and controlling operation in the rental industry.

The system allows for recording and easy retrieval of customer and rental agreement information. Such things as rental terms, rental amounts are easily monitored. Full serial number tracking is incorporated so that the history of rental items can be easily followed. Rental items are able to be transferred from stock to customers as well as marked as sold or repossessed.

Amounts received from customers, are recorded against each customer as they are received. The system keeps track of the current paid up date for each customer.

Automated follow up letters are generated for overdue accounts, together with listings for further follow up.

Driver run sheets can be produced for multiple drivers. These indicate delivery or pick up apresses and include map references, phone contact details and amount to be collected. The run sheets can be sequenced by drop number. A log is kept of all driver runs for future reference.

Facilities are provided for stock take and validation for financial purposes.

Human Resources – Occupational Health and Safety

The resource manager allows for recording of courses, qualifications, plant holdings and other matters attributable to individuals or groups.

A register is maintained of all courses and qualifications, which are of interest to your organisation. These can include trade or tertiary qualifications, specific courses required for health and safety regulations. These can be grouped by course or qualification type.

The register can include external as well as internal courses. It can be extended to include plant or tools issued to individuals within an organisation.

A register is also maintained of employees and subcontractors. This can be tied in with the payroll if required. The normal approach is to separate the register from the payroll. This allows the person in control of payroll to be more assured that security will not be a concern.

The system allows performance dates and expiry dates to be monitored.

Securities and Investments

The securities package allows monitoring and control of shares, interest bearing securities, rent producing properties, units in trusts and other investment types.

It allows multiple portfolios to be controlled within a single database. It also allows for multiple databases where greater security or transportability is required.

The system stores detail about the various securities held within any portfolio within the database. Changes to details of any security are reflected within each portfolio.

The system allows the recording of purchases and other acquisitions as well as sales and other disposals. Allowance is made for bonus issues, capital buybacks and other reconstructions. Periodic valuation of all or parts of each portfolio is facilitated.

Full income tracking against each security can be maintained. Reports are available which list income by security and class of security. Detail is held for franked and unfranked dividends. Tax credit totals are maintained by individual security.
